It’s showtime for pets

A pet show organised recently in the city recently had pet lovers bring in not just their dogs, but also parakeets and fishes to show off, literally!
The day-long activity began with a dog show where the pooches were made to strike that perfect pose in the ring. The German Shepherds, Great Dane, Rampur Hound, Saint Bernard, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Beagles, Siberian Husky, Grey Hound, American Bull Terriers, Basset Hound and Lhasa Apso, among other breeds, vied for the title of the Best Dog in the Show.But it was Vaibhav Srivastava’s Siberian Husky who clinched the title. Alok Ghosh’s German Shepherd Zodiac won the Best of Breed among the other of his breed.
Organised by Cyrus Cowasji and Anurag Mishra, the animals were judged VK Dheer and senior vet, Dr PK Sharma.
